Harry Potter and the Half Baked Prince (Movie or Trailor)

Harry Potter movies are increasingly disappointing... I have always wondered how J K Rowling managed to keep all the seven books interesting till the last page. And I now wonder how the directors of the movies manage to keep the movies as irritating and insipid as that...? How can you turn a book that is brilliant into a movie that is a prime example of "How NOT to tell a story"...

Take the latest horror... The richness of Tom Riddles past seen in Dumbledore's Pensieve... the Political angle of Rufus Scrimgeour, The fieriness of Ginny, the horror of Fenrir Greyback, the final battle in the corridor, the betrayal of Snape and the subsequent disappointment that people have, the heart wrenching phoenix song at Dumbledore's funeral... in short.... everything was missing... it was more like a 2 1/2 hour trailor of the book... with all the interesting parts missing...

Many people say that you cannot convert that book into a movie because you ahve only 2 1/2 hours. Well.. my answer is... you just need an interesting story-teller... you need imagination... you need to look at the book, understand the story and narrate it... you dont need to have the same sentences as dialogues...

The movie does have its moments... The camera work is slick... the scenes are polished and especially Dumbledore's and Harry's trip to the cave is beautifully picturised...

There are scenes which I suspect will be referred to in the next movie... and those scenes have been well planted here... Will leave you guessing on what those scenes are...

You need to read the book to understand the movie... but if you have read the book... you would wonder why did you ever want to watch the movie...

Movie makers... Please don't insult the book and our intelligence...
